Baby Boy Card - Owl Punch
when I saw this card on Pintrest I knew I had to try it. It was a lot of work but I think it was definitely worth it. I think next time I might added a little baby bottle or rattle on the wing.

Thank you Card - Mason Jar Stamp
I love mason jars. I use them all the time. My cupboard is full of them for water glasses, I've planted succulents in them, I carry and eat my instant oats breakfast every day at work. they're so handy, durable, and I love the look of them.

when I saw the stamp at sale for Michael's along with my 40% off coupon I couldn't resist.

Pink Wedding Cards
I got this great new Sizzix wedding embossing set that is perfect for a wedding cards, especially if you have a few to make and want to keep them unique. I added a little glitter to the veil and hearts ontop of the cake for an extra sparkle. I also found a great video on Youtube for the bow which I think completed the look. Usually I just have the ribbon flat across the card. Take a look, I found it very easy to follow: http://youtu.be/eBvYVKEGcrg

Congratulations/Thank you Sheep card
I needed a Thank you card for a friend who was also about to have twins boys. I thought the sheep were too cute so I kept it simple with the brads and blue trim.

Bridal Shower Card

Cupcake Birthday Card
One of my best friends lives in Australia (Hi Lena) so I had to get her Birthday card out early as her Christmas card took almost a month to reach her. Here is a simple and sweet card for someone special. You can always colour in the image with a felt or pencil crayon if you'd like.

Engagement Party Invitation
After getting engaged in May of 2010 Chris and I decided to wait on the planning of the wedding. We decided a good time would be after the engagement party that my parents threw for us in July would be a amount of time to just enjoy the idea of being engaged before the flood gates opened in the whole planning process.

Once my parents announced they were throwing us the engagement party here is a little DIY magnetic Invitation that I whipped up. (The first of many magnets in series of wedding related items to be sent out). I decided to use a fun photo(the day after the engagement still on the Sunshine Coast) because I knew the rest of the wedding items would be pretty and romantic. If you look closely Chris has the metal from the Champagne bottle on his teeth...like a grill!! ha. I'm such a lucky girl!!

DIY Thank you cards
Since I made all of the invitations leading up to the wedding from the Engagement Party, Save the Date, Thank you cards from the Bridal Showers and the Wedding invitations I knew I had to end off the process with the final Thank you card. I decided to stick to the feel from the wedding invitations and that I wanted to incorporate a photo or two. Here is what I came up with:

Front of the card

Inside of the card

Glitter cards
Daumer and I went to our friends joint Birthday party (Happy Birthday T&W) and therefore we needed a unisex card. I thought this worked well especially since they both enjoy a little flash.

Here are a couple more I did using the sparkle/floral pack of paper from Michaels and my round, scallop and embossing Nestabilities.

The first is for my sister Justina's 22nd birthday. We bought the glitter ribbon together so I knew I had to use it for her.

Floral wedding card
This card was for my girl friend's wedding. Since Niki loves red I had to have it be the main colour however I found it difficult to keep it romantic until I found the floral paper.

Dora the Explorer Birthday Card
My niece Livia turned Four over the weekend. She’s into the usual things that you’d expect from a four year old such as Disney Princess’, gymnastics, music and of course Dora. We have often watched Dora together and we love shouting out at the TV when Dora asks us to call for the ‘map’ to find our way. I found these stickers at Michael’s and thought a card with Dora, her friend Boots and the map would be perfect. I was right..she loved it!

Christmas Cards
The cards have just been dropped in the mail. I know I’m a little later than usual but at least they’re done! This year I treated myself to a new pack of stamps and went with 3 different styles. Sometimes I kick myself for doing different versions because then I have to think about who gets which one..very silly I know.

The only tweak I would have done on the Santa card would be to have included a small “Merry Christmas” but I was just trying to get them all finished and didn't want to do another trip to Michaels. Also i had to get these done before I started on the DIY Snow globes I have decided I’m going to attempt (stay tuned for that post).

Last night Chris needed some Christmas cards to send out to the other teachers so I had my chance to add something to the cards. (Luckily I always make a few extra). Although I didn't have a 'Merry Christmas stamp, I did find some left over 'rub on' transfers in the Christmas bin that I think finished the card of nicely.

Champagne Wedding Card
Here is the card I did for the wedding reception we went to over the weekend. The photo doesn’t exactly do the sparkles justice but I used a very thick gold glitter cardstock. The Champagne bottle and glasses were from a sticker set that also came with flowers and wedding bands that I’ve saved for another card.

I was pretty happy with the way this turned out. I think the final touch is the small ribbon separating the gold and white cardstock and the two gold jewels on the bottom. Once again I used the circle nestabilities along with the 'Celebrate' embossing die cut which came in a set with 'Happy Birthday' and a few others. I love getting use out of my supplies.

Large Christmas Card
One of my girlfriends is receiving a gift card for Christmas (can’t say who since it’s a surprise) so I wanted to make a card that was large enough for the certificate. I didn’t have time to look up how to do a built in pocket (which is on my list of things to try) so I just used a cute Christmas paper clip to hold it in place inside.

The snowflake cardstock and Snowman came from  a Christmas pack that mom bought at Michaels for Justina and I to split. Thanks Mom!!
